One of the most iconic experiences in all of Wisconsin. The Geneva Lake Shore Path winds 21.9 miles around the entire lake, passing historic summer estates, private boathouses, and some of the most beautiful lakefront scenery in the Midwest. May is one of the best months to walk it — the flowers are blooming, the crowds are manageable, and the lake is just waking up for summer. Multiple public access points. Free.
