Live Music around Lake Geneva

Some Lake Geneva nights are built around a dinner reservation. Others are built around finding the right patio, catching 2 sets, and staying out a little later than planned.

This guide to live music around Lake Geneva covers the places I’d actually check first: free park concerts, resort music, lakefront bars, breweries, theaters, summer series, and a few bigger stages within a normal Lake Geneva drive.

For more plans, pair this with the Lake Geneva Events Calendar and the Things to Do Around Lake Geneva guide.

Lake Geneva Concerts in the Park

Lake Geneva Concerts in the Park is the easy summer win.

The 2026 series runs Thursday evenings from June 25 through August 6, 6 PM to 8 PM, at the Brunk Family Pavilion in Flat Iron Park. You get the lake behind you, downtown close by, and enough room to make the night feel relaxed.

Bring a chair or blanket. Pick up dinner nearby, or keep it simple with snacks.

Address: 201 Wrigley Dr., Lake Geneva Best for: Free live music, lakefront evenings, and a classic downtown Lake Geneva night Website: Lake Geneva Concerts in the Park

Kim & Joel’s tip: Park a little early, then walk toward the lake before the music starts. That first view from Flat Iron Park still gets me.

Lake Geneva House of Music

Lake Geneva House of Music is the closest thing Lake Geneva has to a true local music clubhouse.

It sits at N3241 County Road H and hosts concerts, private events, local markets, and community nights. The vibe is more musician-led than resort-polished, which is exactly why people like it.

Check the full calendar before going. Some nights are ticketed. Some are casual. Some turn into a whole thing.

Address: N3241 County Rd. H, Lake Geneva Best for: Local bands, small concerts, open-air music nights, and a less downtown-feeling evening Website: Lake Geneva House of Music

If you want music first and dinner second, start here.

Topsy Turvy Brewery

Topsy Turvy Brewery is the downtown Lake Geneva taproom music stop.

It’s inside the old church at 727 Geneva Street, which already gives the room more character than a normal beer stop. The Topsy Turvy events calendar includes regular live music in the taproom, with sets like Scott Huffman, Jeff Trudell, Blue Rhythm, and other local names.

The shows usually feel easy: craft beer, pizza or snacks, and music close enough that you don’t feel like you’re watching from another zip code.

Address: 727 Geneva St., Lake Geneva Best for: Free taproom music, craft beer, casual weekend sets, and downtown pre-dinner music Website: Topsy Turvy Brewery

Maxwell Mansion

Maxwell Mansion brings the speakeasy mood.

The Maxwell live music calendar usually has Wednesday evening music from 6 PM to 9 PM, plus select weekend events. You’ll see familiar local names like Terry Byrne, Doghouse Roses, Lara Bell, Jeff Trudell, Pat McCurdy, and Bill “Sinatra” Serritella.

This is a better pick when you want cocktails and a grown-up night instead of a loud bar crawl.

Address: 304 S. Wells St., Lake Geneva Best for: Cocktail music, date-night energy, speakeasy rooms, and acoustic sets Website: Maxwell Mansion

Lake City Social

Lake City Social is a simple downtown choice when you want music with dinner.

The restaurant has live music in the bar on Wednesday nights from 6 PM to 9 PM. That timing works nicely if you want something after work, before a late drink, or before calling it a very respectable Lake Geneva weeknight.

Address: 111 Center St., Lake Geneva Best for: Wednesday live music, dinner, drinks, and easy downtown plans Website: Lake City Social

Hogs & Kisses

Hogs & Kisses is the late-night Lake Geneva pick.

The weekly Hogs & Kisses live music anchor is the Glenn Davis Blues Jam on Wednesday nights, usually from 9 PM to 11:30 PM. It’s a different feel from the park concerts and patio sets. Later, louder, more barroom.

Address: 149 Broad St., Lake Geneva Best for: Wednesday blues jam, late-night music, dancing, and a downtown bar scene Website: Hogs & Kisses

The Bottle Shop

The Bottle Shop is a wine bar first, but it belongs in a live music guide because of the Grapevine Theatre.

The Grapevine is a small 52-seat room for concerts, comedy, and plays. It’s the kind of room where you actually see the performer’s face, which I’ll take over a giant noisy bar any day.

Check the Bottle Shop events calendar for current shows.

Address: 617 W. Main St., Lake Geneva Best for: Small-room concerts, wine bar nights, comedy, and low-key theater events Website: The Bottle Shop

The Mars live music calendar usually runs Thursday through Sunday in season, with piano bar and patio sets. The schedule often includes Thursday music from 6 PM to 9 PM, Friday and Saturday night music from 7 PM to 10 PM, and Sunday evening music during the warmer months.

This is the supper club music night: lake view, drink in hand, ribs or fish fry on the table, and a band that knows the room.

Address: W4098 South Shore Dr., Lake Geneva Best for: Supper club music, Lake Como sunsets, patio sets, and weekend dinner music Website: Mars Resort

The Getaway on Lake Como

The Getaway on Lake Como has become a steady Lake Como music stop.

Its live music calendar includes regular Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday performances during the busy season. This is the place I’d check when you want lake views, cocktails, dinner, and music without going into downtown Lake Geneva.

Location: Lake Como, Lake Geneva Best for: Lake Como dinner music, patio nights, cocktails, and weekend sets Website: The Getaway on Lake Como

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa

Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is one of the easiest year-round music checks because the resort has multiple indoor and outdoor rooms.

The Grand Geneva live entertainment calendar includes music at spots like the Lobby Bar and Wee Nip, with many sets in the 5 PM to 11 PM window depending on the date.

This is a good call when weather is iffy. Resort music saves a night when a patio plan gets rained out.

Address: 7036 Grand Geneva Way, Lake Geneva Best for: Resort bar music, indoor backup plans, weekend music, and a polished Lake Geneva night Website: Grand Geneva live entertainment

Destination Geneva National

Destination Geneva National has a stronger live music setup than many people realize.

The resort’s live music page has Thursday night music at Paloma Cantina from 6 PM to 9 PM during the summer season. The broader events page also points to live music at the Lodge on Friday and Saturday nights in season.

If you’re staying at Geneva National or Lake Como, this is an easy no-drive or short-drive music night.

Pier 290 is one of the best live music spots in Williams Bay.

The Pier 290 events calendar has frequent summer music, with names like Doghouse Roses, Randy McCallister, D’Lite Duo, Mike VanDyke, and Dan Blitz. The lakefront setting does a lot of work here.

Go when you want a lake view with dinner and music, and when you’re okay with a busier summer crowd.

Address: 1 Liechty Dr., Williams Bay Best for: Lakefront music, patio sets, dinner, drinks, and west-end Geneva Lake nights Website: Pier 290 events

The 2026 lineup runs on select Thursdays at Reid Park Gazebo from 6 PM to 8 PM. The schedule includes Funk Club Wagon, Jon Primer, Mr. Blotto, Great Sax, Claire Kelly Music, Jazz Flux, and Ben Spoden.

Bring chairs. Bring a cooler if the rules allow it that night. Bring a sweatshirt, because the lake has opinions after sunset.

The Abbey Resort

The Abbey Resort is Fontana’s resort music hub.

The Abbey events calendar includes Waterfront Live Music, Bar West Live Music, Sunday brunch music, and seasonal resort events. The Saturday Waterfront live music listing runs weekly from March 14 through December 26, 2026, usually in the 8 PM to 11:30 PM window.

This is the Fontana pick when you want music, harbor views, and a full resort night.

Address: 269 Fontana Blvd., Fontana Best for: Waterfront music, Bar West music, Sunday brunch music, and harbor-side resort nights Website: The Abbey Resort events

Phoenix Park Bandshell

Phoenix Park Bandshell is the Delavan live music anchor.

The bandshell brings free public concerts to Phoenix Park, 1 block south of downtown Delavan. The schedule changes by date, but summer 2026 includes big tribute-style nights like The Chicago Experience Band and Kashmir, plus church music nights and community concerts.

The Duesterbeck’s events calendar runs spring, summer, and fall music with outdoor patio stage shows and Pig Barn sets. The 2026 calendar includes tribute nights, Sunday afternoon music, food trucks, and weekend shows.

It’s on County Road O, which gives it that countryside brewery feel without being too far from Elkhorn or Lake Geneva.

Address: N5543 County Rd. O, Elkhorn Best for: Outdoor brewery music, tribute bands, food trucks, Sunday afternoon sets, and country-road beer nights Website: Duesterbeck’s Brewing Company

Holton-Elkhorn Band

The Holton-Elkhorn Band is the old-school Elkhorn music tradition that still matters.

The band performs summer concerts at the historic bandshell in Sunset Park. Some 2026 concerts are free, including dates at the Sunset Park bandshell.

This is brass-band Americana in a park. No gimmick needed.

Address: Historic Bandshell at Sunset Park, 200 Devendorf St., Elkhorn Best for: Free band concerts, classic summer evenings, and Elkhorn park music Website: Holton-Elkhorn Band

Walworth County Fairgrounds

Walworth County Fairgrounds is Elkhorn’s big event stage.

During fair week and special events, the grandstand brings in rodeo, country, rock, and festival-style entertainment. The 2026 grandstand entertainment lineup includes Rice Pro Rodeo with Bella Cain in concert.

Live music around Lake Geneva by community

The Lake Geneva Weekend community guides cover Lake Geneva, Williams Bay, Fontana, Abbey Springs, Walworth, Geneva National, Delavan, Elkhorn, Twin Lakes, Genoa City, and Richmond, Burlington, Darien, Sharon, East Troy, and Whitewater.

Here’s where I’d look first.

Lake Geneva

Lake Geneva has the deepest live music bench.

Start with Lake Geneva Concerts in the Park, Lake Geneva House of Music, Topsy Turvy Brewery, Maxwell Mansion, Lake City Social, Hogs & Kisses, The Bottle Shop, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, Next Door Pub Lakeside, Mars Resort, and The Getaway on Lake Como.

If you only check 2 calendars, check Visit Lake Geneva events and the Lake Geneva House of Music calendar.

Williams Bay

Williams Bay has Pier 290, Harpoon Willie’s, and The Belfry Music Theatre.

One note: I would not list Music by the Lake as an active Williams Bay series right now. Aurora University is no longer hosting it, so use The Belfry Music Theatre or Pier 290 for current music plans.

Fontana

Fontana has 2 clear music stops.

Use Music in the Park in Fontana for free summer concerts at Reid Park Gazebo. Use The Abbey Resort events calendar for Waterfront music, Bar West music, and resort music nights.

Abbey Springs

Abbey Springs is closest to the Fontana and west-end music options.

Start with The Abbey Resort, Music in the Park in Fontana, Pier 290, and The Belfry Music Theatre.

Village of Walworth

Walworth does not have a regular live music venue I’d center this page around.

The closest strong picks are Music in the Park in Fontana, The Abbey Resort, The Belfry Music Theatre, and Music in the Park in Sharon.

Geneva National and Lake Como

Geneva National and Lake Como are quietly strong for music.

Use Destination Geneva National live music, Mars Resort, The Getaway on Lake Como, and Next Door Pub Lakeside.

Delavan

Delavan has Phoenix Park Bandshell and Lake Lawn Resort.

Use Phoenix Park for free summer concerts. Use Lake Lawn when you want resort music, a lake view, or an indoor fallback.

Elkhorn

Elkhorn has Duesterbeck’s Brewing Company, the Holton-Elkhorn Band, Sunset Park, Walworth County Fairgrounds, and nearby Alpine Valley Resort.

Duesterbeck’s is the regular brewery-music pick. The fairgrounds are for bigger event nights.

Twin Lakes, Genoa City, and Richmond

Twin Lakes has Country Thunder Wisconsin, which is the biggest music event in that area.

For Genoa City and Richmond, I did not find a current regular live music venue I’d include as a main listing. Check nearby Lake Geneva, Williams Bay, and Burlington calendars for more dependable music nights.

Burlington

Burlington has B-Town Sounds and The Coffee House at Chestnut & Pine.

B-Town Sounds is the free outdoor summer pick. Chestnut & Pine is the ticketed listening-room pick.

Darien

Darien does not have a verified regular live music venue I’d add to this guide.

For Darien-area music, I’d check Phoenix Park Bandshell in Delavan, Duesterbeck’s Brewing Company in Elkhorn, and Whitewater City Market.

Sharon

Sharon has Music in the Park in Sharon on the first Wednesday of June, July, and August.

For more frequent music, look toward The Belfry Music Theatre, The Abbey Resort, and Phoenix Park Bandshell.

East Troy

East Troy has Alpine Valley Music Theatre and East Troy Brewery.

Alpine Valley is the national-act amphitheater. East Troy Brewery is the smaller village music stop when the calendar has an active event.

Whitewater

Whitewater has Whitewater City Market, Whitewater Parks & Recreation special events, and The Young Performing Arts Center.

Use the market for Tuesday music. Use The Young for ticketed concerts and stage events.

Lauderdale Lakes

The closest music routes are Duesterbeck’s Brewing Company in Elkhorn, Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, and Whitewater City Market.

How to find live music this weekend

Start with the venue calendar.

Then check the day of the show, especially for outdoor music. Summer storms can move fast around the lake, and patio sets get shifted or canceled.
