WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE LAKE

Women’s Weekend 2026 Is Here and It’s a “Let’s Go Girls” Situation

HEY LAKE LOVERS — Kim and Joel Reyenga here with your weekly dose of what is going on around beautiful Geneva Lake. And this week? We are handing the spotlight entirely over to the ladies, because April 24 through 26 belongs to Women’s Weekend Lake Geneva 2026, and the lineup is absolutely something.

Presented by the Geneva Lake Women’s Association (GLWA), this is three full days of workshops, wine, live music, lake cruises, fashion, food, and genuine community. The theme this year is “Let’s Go Girls,” which, honestly, may be the most accurate event name in Lake Geneva history.

What is happening at Lake Geneva this weekend? Women’s Weekend Lake Geneva 2026 runs April 24 through 26 across multiple downtown locations. The Geneva Lake Women’s Association hosts dozens of ticketed workshops and activities covering everything from sound healing and candle pouring to a waterfront brunch cruise and a fashion show inside the Historic Baker House. All proceeds benefit Walworth County charities.

There is no general admission fee for the weekend. You pick your activities, register individually, and build your own schedule. Which means you could spend the whole three days doing literally one thing (we see you, Poker Run devotees) or you could pack it wall to wall. Both are correct answers.

Also worth knowing: every dollar you spend on this weekend goes to the GLWA philanthropic fund supporting Walworth County nonprofits. So you are shopping, sipping, and doing good at the same time. Lake Geneva kind of excels at that.

Friday, April 24: The Kickoff You Actually Want to Show Up For

Check-in opens Friday at 3 p.m. at The Cove of Lake Geneva, 111 Center Street, and runs until 6 p.m. If you are arriving Saturday, there is a morning window from 9 a.m. to noon.

But before we get to Friday night, there is a full afternoon of workshops already running.

Buti Movement and Breathwork

Studio Dori, 234 Broad Street (second floor of O2 Lounge, stairs only)  |  Sessions starting at 9:31 a.m. through the afternoon

This is not your average fitness class. Think tribal beats, breathwork, shaking, and vibration. Wear something you can sweat in and skip the shoes. Everyone gets a goody bag and a coupon for boba or fresh juice at O2 Lounge, which is a very good bonus. Brought to you by Dori Beck of Studio Dori.

Salt and Kai Creative Cafe

726 Geneva Street  |  10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in 1.5-hour blocks

Two desert-inspired options: building a turquoise charm wrap bracelet or blending your own roller perfume or mini reed diffuser. Groups up to 8 can reserve a slot. This is a genuinely lovely creative break in the middle of a busy day.

Herbs for Women

Simple Solutions Apothecary, 511 Broad Street  |  11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Sarah of Simple Solutions Apothecary spotlights herbs that help steady hormones, support the nervous system, and relieve stress. Samples included. If you have ever wondered what the right herbs could do for your mood, your energy, or your overall well-being, this is the presentation you don’t want to miss.

Brats and Brews at The Bottle Shop

The Bottle Shop, 617 W. Main Street  |  2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Beth is firing up the grill with four bold brat flavors, each paired with a big brew. The western theme is already in full effect and this is a pretty perfect mid-afternoon stop.

Bling That Hat Girls

Niche Cafe and Wine Bar, 725 Hunt Club Court, Suite C  |  3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Heather supplies the hats, the bling, all the materials. You supply the enthusiasm and maybe a little competitive spirit. Wine is involved. No experience necessary.

Wicks and Sips

The Candle Mercantile, 870 West Main Street  |  4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

A 60-minute candle-pouring session with a beverage. Your candle gets picked up Saturday. Workshop also available Saturday and Sunday.

Honey and Bourbon

The Bottle Shop, 617 W. Main Street  |  4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

A honey expert and a bourbon specialist pair golden drizzles and barrel-aged beauties for a 90-minute tasting described as “dangerously delicious.” That is direct from the source and we believe it.

The Let’s Go Girls Kickoff Party at Celebration on Wells

Celebration on Wells, 422 S. Wells Street  |  7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Live music by Cornfield Keg Party. Hors d’oeuvres starting at 7, a buffet at 8, raffles, liquor and wine pulls, a silent auction, and prizes for best western hat and best cowgirl boots. Cash bar. Signature Rodeo-Rita. Mid-century modern venue.

Line dancing. Great friends. A band called Cornfield Keg Party. This is not optional.

Saturday, April 25: Peak Women’s Weekend Energy

Saturday is where the weekend really opens up. More workshops, more activities, and what might be the most elegant evening the lake has seen in a while.

Essence Sound Bathing

Each session includes a crystalline sound bath, aromatherapy, a cozy blanket, eye pillow, zero gravity chair, and a foot bowl treatment. This is deeply restorative. Sound Baths also offered on Sunday.

The Cove of Lake Geneva, 111 Center Street  |  9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Create a one-of-a-kind pressed-flower arrangement in a 5×7 glass and wood frame. Gorgeous gift, gorgeous keepsake. Offered by Bella Botanica.

Goldie Links Permanent Jewelry (Drop-In)

The Bottle Shop, 617 W. Main Street  |  10 a.m. to 3 p.m., drop-in

Lake Geneva Poker Run

Check-in: The Cove, 111 Center Street  |  11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  |  Wrap-up: The Bottle Shop, 647 Main Street, 3:30-4 p.m.

Brand new this year. Seven stops across downtown at your own pace. Pause for lunch, pop into a boutique, grab a coffee. At the end, discard two cards and the best five-card hand wins. Word is there are two prizes. This is the most fun way to see downtown Lake Geneva you could possibly engineer.

The Art of Mixology at Maxwell Mansion

Maxwell Mansion, 304 S. Wells Street  |  Three sessions: 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m.

Expert mixologists walk you through what makes a cocktail work, and you sip a custom Women’s Weekend cocktail or mocktail in a historic mansion with speakeasy history. Mocktail option available, just note it at registration.

Awareness, Options and Confidence: Personal Safety for Women

The Cove, 111 Center Street  |  1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Practical situational awareness in a relaxed, supportive environment. Brought to you by Jade Goodhue of Aegis Defense Training, LLC. Not fear-based, not overwhelming. Worth an hour.

A Grand Golf Experience at Grand Geneva

Grand Geneva Golf Pro Shop, 7036 Grand Geneva Way  |  4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Instruction on the new driving range, then a couple of holes on the course, followed by a post-round wine tasting on the patio with a water-hole view. All skill levels welcome. Complimentary equipment provided. Note right or left-handed preference at registration.

Fashion Show and Tex-Mex Dinner at the Historic Baker House

Historic Baker House  |  5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Arrival and cocktail hour at 5 (one complimentary drink plus cash bar). Guided tour of the Historic Baker House at 5:30. Fashion show featuring local boutiques. Tex-Mex served family-style: cornbread muffins, artisan sliders, slow-baked beans, twice-baked potatoes. Coffee and dessert at intermission. Fashion show Part II and prize winners announced by 8:30.

This is the Saturday night you planned your whole drive up here around.
