Darien Corn Fest 2026: Dates, Hours, and What Actually Costs Money
The Darien Corn Fest runs Friday, September 11 through Sunday, September 13, 2026 at West Park in Darien, Wisconsin. Walking in is free. Fireworks go up Friday at sundown, live music runs Friday and Saturday nights on the Miller Lite Stage, and the parade steps off at noon on Sunday.
Where: West Park, 335 W Madison St, Darien, just east of I-43 at Exit 15 on Highway 14. About 20 minutes west of downtown Lake Geneva on Highway 50. Website: dariencornfest.us Cost: Free to walk the grounds. You pay for carnival rides, food, vendors, and raffle tickets. Music: Two Beer Tommy Friday 7 to 11 PM. D’Lite Duo Saturday noon to 4 PM, a second act 4 to 7 PM, and The Cheap Shots Saturday 7 to 11 PM. All of it on the Miller Lite Stage. One catch: The committee has not posted 2026 carnival wristband prices or ride windows anywhere. Bring cash and expect to ask at the gate.
Friday night is the fireworks. They go up at sundown, they are free, and the rain date is Saturday at the same hour. The show lands after the Friday band takes the stage, and people watch from wherever they happen to be standing.

The Sunday Parade Is Why People Drive Back a Second Day
The Darien Cornfest parade steps off at noon sharp on Sunday, September 13, 2026. The Liberty Bike Ride leads it at 11:15 AM. The route runs about 3/4 of a mile from the corner of County X and 3rd Street to the fest grounds, with announcer stands across from Farmer’s Inn and at the Village Garage.
Sunday is the better day if you only come once. It starts at 9 AM with the Antique Tractor Pull and Farm Stock Pull, run this year by the WeakEnd Antique Pullers, a northern Illinois crew that brings restored machines rather than modified ones.
Then the parade. Lineup begins at 10, judging starts at 11 and entries have to be in position by then, the Liberty Bike Ride rolls at 11:15, and the parade itself leaves at noon. The bike ride is a group of military veterans on motorcycles riding in tribute, and it is the part of the morning most first-timers do not expect.
Park at the fest grounds, because that is where the parade ends. Streets near the route get blocked or turned one-way during lineup, so drop people off at the N. Wisconsin Street intersection nearest your spot. There is limited parking on First and Second streets and on Market Street by the Legion Hall.
The Big Corn Shell Out follows at 3 PM in the Corn Barn. It is a 350 ticket raffle with a top prize of up to $10,000, prorated if they do not all sell. The last 5 holders can split it or keep going. The regular raffle draws at 4 PM during the break.
32nd East Troy Bluegrass Festival: The Full 2026 Lineup and What a Wristband Costs
The 32nd annual East Troy Bluegrass Festival runs Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, 2026 on the historic village square in East Troy, about 25 minutes north of Lake Geneva. Music runs 11 AM to 5:30 PM Saturday and 10 AM to 5:30 PM Sunday. Wristbands are $20 per day or $35 for the weekend.
Where: Village Square Park, Main St, East Troy. Rain venue is the East Troy Bible Church, 2660 North St, with a large room and plenty of parking. Website: easttroybluegrass.com Cost: $20 per day, $35 for the weekend. Children 16 and under are free. Jammers pay $10 a day if they walk in with an instrument in hand. Best for: Anyone who would rather sit through a full afternoon of music than walk a midway. One catch: Bring your own lawn chair. There is food and drink on site, and no alcohol is permitted on the square.

Saturday Options If You Are Staying Closer to the Lake
Saturday, September 12 also brings a classic car and tractor show at Pearce’s Farm Stand in Walworth, weekend train rides on the East Troy Railroad, and the Yerkes Observatory fall fundraiser in Williams Bay.
Pearce’s Farm Stand hosts its Classic Car and Tractor Show on Saturday at W5740 N Walworth Rd, about 20 minutes southwest of Lake Geneva. The corn maze is open and the concession stand runs 11 AM to 5 PM on weekends. The East Troy Railroad Museum runs its 14 mile electric interurban ride on Saturdays, and fall harvest trains to the Elegant Farmer start this weekend. Both are in East Troy, so it pairs with the bluegrass festival.
In Williams Bay, Yerkes Observatory holds its second annual fall fundraiser Saturday from 6 to 10 PM. The theme is Cosmic Construction, tickets are $300 per person, and every dollar goes to the Yerkes Future Foundation restoration work. Friday Night Before Any of It Starts
Friday, September 11, 2026 brings the Corn Fest fireworks at sundown in Darien, comedian Jay Harris at Geneva Stage in Lake Geneva, and Lakeside Laughs at The Abbey Resort in Fontana.
If you are not driving to Darien, downtown has a full Friday. Jay Harris plays Geneva Stage, a Chicago stage veteran whose date moved to the 11th, and The Abbey runs its Lakeside Laughs comedy night in Fontana the same evening.

Can You Do Corn Fest and Bluegrass in the Same Weekend?
Yes, and Saturday is the day it works. Darien and East Troy are a little over 30 minutes apart, and the two schedules only collide in the late afternoon.
Take East Troy first on Saturday. Music starts at 11 AM, and the Lonesome River Band closes at 5:30. Drive south to Darien after that and you land in time for The Cheap Shots at 7 PM, with the midway already lit.
Going the other direction trades the bluegrass headliner for the softest hours of the Corn Fest weekend.
Sunday is a choose-one day. The Corn Fest parade at noon and the bluegrass afternoon run straight through each other, and the parade is the better hour of the two if you have never seen it.
