What’s Happening at The Lake: Lake Geneva Events, June 10 to 17, 2026

Hey Lake Lovers ……..Summer pulled into town this week and went straight for the good stuff.

From Wednesday, June 10 through Wednesday, June 17, the Lake Geneva area is loaded with live music, Lake Geneva Pride, monster trucks, a hometown American Idol singer, a quiet little art show, and the first real wave of festival season. Tourists, weekenders, lifelong locals: same memo for all of you. Clear some calendar space.

Kim and Joel Reyenga with eXp Realty round up these Lake Geneva events every week because the lake is the whole reason people fall for this place. A concert downtown, a Saturday at the fairgrounds, a drag brunch by the water, then that quiet moment around sunset when somebody says it out loud. “Could we actually have a place up here?”

People ask us that constantly. (Usually right after the second ice cream cone on Broad Street, but we won’t psychoanalyze you.)

So here is your guide to the week, plus a Save the Date section for the summer headliners worth blocking off now before someone in your house asks why nobody told them.

What’s happening in Lake Geneva this week?

From June 10 to June 17, 2026, Lake Geneva events run from Drew Angus and Genevieve Heyward at Geneva Stage to four days of Lake Geneva Pride downtown, 2X Monster Trucks at the Walworth County Fairgrounds in Elkhorn, and a month-long sculpture exhibit at the public library. Then the summer festival calendar cracks open the very next weekend with Geneva Jazz & Blues and Fiesta by the Lake.

Bring a calendar. Better yet, bring the family member who swears they “don’t care what we do” and then vetoes every idea. This week calls their bluff.

Featured picks this week

Drew Angus: An Evening of Songs & Stories

Wednesday, June 10 | 7:30 to 9:30 PM Geneva Stage, 244 Broad St, Lake Geneva Tickets start at $49

Drew Angus, a former American Idol finalist, plays an intimate, theater-style night of music and stories at Geneva Stage in the heart of downtown.

This is your midweek grown-up night out. Dinner downtown, music on Broad Street, a slow walk after if the weather cooperates. Which, in Wisconsin in June, is less a promise and more a friendly suggestion to the sky.

Lake Geneva Pride:

Thursday, June 11 through Sunday, June 14 Downtown Lake Geneva and participating venues

Four days of community, art, music, comedy, and drag spread across downtown Lake Geneva. Some events some are ticketed and some are free. Check each one before you go, because they are not all the same crowd or the same vibe.

Here’s the rundown:

  • Pride Open Mic, Friday June 12 at 4 PM, Lake Geneva Public Library, 918 W Main St. Bring a poem, a song, or a story. Snacks courtesy of Simple Food Group. (A library event with snacks. We support this.)
  • The Celebrity Show, Friday June 12 at 7 PM, The Cove of Lake Geneva, 111 Center St. Three local celebrities get the full drag transformation. Listed as sold out, so this one’s a “knew about it” flex now.
  • Stand Up Comedy Show, Saturday June 13 at 6 PM, The Bottle Shop, 617 W Main St. Todd Douglas, Matt Brown, and KB Marion. $25 plus tax, ages 21 and up, strong language. Great for adults who need a laugh after a long week of pretending email is a normal way to live.
  • Legends of Drag, Saturday June 13 at 8 PM, The Cove. Kansas City performers Loretta Martin, Christa Collins, and Nixie Luck live. $23.18, ages 21 and up.
  • Rainbow Community Worship Celebration for All, Sunday June 14 from 11 AM to noon, Flat Iron Park, 201 Wrigley Drive.
  • Poolside Drag Bingo and Bites, Sunday June 14 at 1 PM, The Cove. Hosted by Victoria Lynn, Miss Gay Wisconsin 2026. Lunch at 1, free bingo at 2, lunch ticket ($17.85) required for entry.

Genevieve Heyward at Geneva Stage

Saturday, June 13 | Doors 6 PM | Show 7 PM Geneva Stage, 244 Broad St, Lake Geneva Tickets: $25 plus fees

Lake Geneva’s own Genevieve Heyward, fresh off the latest season of American Idol, comes home to play Broad Street.

A hometown kid back on the hometown stage. That’s the kind of night that hits a little different, and it belongs on your weekend list.

2X Monster Trucks Live Tour

Saturday, June 13 | Doors 10 AM and 5 PM | Shows at noon and 7 PM Walworth County Fairgrounds Grandstand, 411 E Court St, Elkhorn Tickets start at $18.50 for kids, $28.50 for adults

Shark Bite, Roarin’ Rex, Jekyll & Hyde, and the rest of the heavy hitters take over the Elkhorn fairgrounds. There’s a ride-along option, a King Sling guest experience, food, merch, and kids activities.

Heads up: the noon show is listed as sold out, so confirm tickets before you promise any small person they’re about to watch a truck fly. That promise is hard to walk back.

Kid heaven. Parent earplug moment.

Family and kid plans

The monster trucks above are the obvious headliner for the under-10 set. Here’s a quieter one to balance the week out.

Carmen Bond at the Lake Geneva Public Library

All month, June | Lake Geneva Public Library, 918 W Main St

The library’s rotating Geneva Lakes Art Foundation gallery is showing sculptor and ceramicist Carmen Bond this month. Her work digs into faces, emotion, and the search for the self, which sounds heavy and reads beautifully in person.

It’s a free, low-key stop you can pair with the Pride Open Mic or a downtown stroll. The gallery sits in the west-end fiction section and is open during regular library hours.

Save the Date: summer headliners

This is the section for the fridge calendar and the family group text. We’re telling you now so nobody gets to say we didn’t.

Lake Geneva Jaycees Venetian Festival

August 19 to 23 | Lake Geneva parks and lakefront The 64th Venetian Fest: live music, a carnival, a car and bike show, the water ski show, the Lighted Boat Parade, and fireworks over Geneva Lake. Everyone talks about the fireworks. Locals talk about the teriyaki on a stick.

September 2 to 7 | Walworth County Fairgrounds, Elkhorn The 177th fair, themed “Glitter and Gold.” Ludacris and Lynyrd Skynyrd are on the bill, alongside rides, livestock, a demolition derby, and a rodeo. That sentence alone is why county fairs stay undefeated.

Why a week like this turns weekenders into homeowners

Look at what a single week here can hold. A singer-songwriter show on Wednesday, Pride downtown all weekend, monster trucks Saturday, a hometown star on the Geneva Stage, and a summer slate stacked with festivals through Labor Day.

That’s not a vacation calendar. That’s a life people want to live full-time.

Kim and Joel Reyenga with eXp Realty help Chicago families read the whole Lake Geneva picture, not just the listing photos. Which lake communities fit which kind of weekend, where the school districts and the boat launches and the good Friday fish fries actually are, and how Fontana feels different from Williams Bay feels different from town. The stuff you only learn by living it, which they do.

When the lake starts feeling like more than a weekend plan, you can browse current Lake Geneva area home listings anytime. That beats scrolling listings at 11:42 PM while telling yourself you’re “just looking.”

Plan your Lake Geneva weekend

Use this as your weekly cheat sheet, and double-check times before you head out. Summer schedules shift with weather, ticket sales, and the local habit of having 19 things going on at once.

And when you’re ready to search summer homes and Lake Geneva area properties, start at YourWiscoHome.com, where Kim and Joel Reyenga with eXp Realty help you find the home, the community, and the version of weekends that doesn’t end on Sunday.

See you at the lake.
